The Layman doesn’t do politics and this is not a political book. We want to equip you for the conversations you’re already having so that those political conversations can be transformed into God conversations.
There is a lot of talk about despair in relation to this election. But the words “Christian” and “despair” should never be in the same sentence.
The very word despair means a person who has no hope. And we are never without hope. Regardless of the form of government under which we live. And regardless of the particular people who happen to be in power at a particular time. Those of us who are evangelical Christians, we need to be the people who are presenting a hope based in eternal reality, not simply in temporal things.
Join us in bringing God’s hope and truth into the conversation.

If Trumplethinskin gets in, I WILL lose all hope. The man is a lying, bombastic, immoral despot with itching trigger-fingers and NO impulse control whatsoever that could very well cause nuclear Armageddon. ANY person who mocks the disabled deserves a special place in Hell.
Give me a hard-working faithful Methodist with experience AND diplomacy any day. THAT would restore my faith and hope in America.
