Confessing Church forums scheduled in Neb. and N.C.

Regional forums on the Confessing Church within the Presbyterian Church (USA) are scheduled in Omaha, Neb., and Montreat, N.C.
The Confessing Church forum in Omaha will be held at 7 p.m. August 25 in Covenant Presbyterian Church. The speakers will include the Rev. Dennis Okholm, professor of theology at Wheaton College in Illinois; Robert L. Howard, chairman of the Presbyterian Lay Committee; and Andrew Loudon, an attorney and former president of the student body at the University of Nebraska.

The congregations of the Confessing Church of the Presbytery of Western North Carolina are sponsoring the forum at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 9 in Gaither Chapel at Montreat Presbyterian Church.
The gathering will include worship and a panel discussion including three Confessing Church pastors in the presbytery — Richard Burnett of Waynesville, Gerrit Dawson of Lenoir and Richard White of Montreat Presbyterian Church.
