New Wineskins put constitution online
The Layman Online, June 29, 2005
The New Wineskins Initiative has posted on its Web site a revised draft of its constitution that includes changes made by delegates during the NWI’s convocation June 18-21 in Edina, Minn.
The 51-page document, still a work in progress, was approved by an overwhelming majority of the 190 delegates who attended the first meeting of the evangelical organization. The sessions of 85 congregations have endorsed the New Wineskins Initiative.
As it now stands, the changes, most of them minor, reflect the thinking of delegates to the convocation. The first public release of the document was at the convocation.
