Voices of Orthodox Women
Have you ever wanted to share your thoughts with other Presbyterian women? Now you can.
What was once known as “The Women’s Program Ministry Area” of our denomination has become “All Women in the Church.” More than just a name change, “All Women” has its own web page [1] that features an online forum that we can use to communicate with one another on a variety of subjects.
Better than FaceBook, the All Women web page features discussion groups where we can explore the ramifications of our faith with one another. Some of the articles on the main page are open to discussion in the forums. Moreover, anyone can start a discussion on most any subject.
Additionally there are book studies. And although one of the studies is on a book that most thoughtful women would consider demeaning to the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ (Proverbs of Ashes: Violence, Redemptive Suffering, and the Search for What Saves Us), now we can express our thoughts.
Orthodox women have rarely had this kind of opportunity before, and now that we have it, it is important that we receive it and use it for the glory of Christ.
Click here to watch a video [2] in which Rhashell Hunter, Director of Racial Ethnic & Women’s Ministries/Presbyterian Women, explains how the new site works.
We at Voices of Orthodox Women encourage you to get involved. Go to the web page [1] , click on FORUM, and sign in. Do it now.
