YAPHANK – Firefighters were on the scene early this morning in Yaphank, where a church went up in flames.
The Yaphank Presbyterian Church on Main Street, which was built back in 1851, caught fire this morning.
Members of the church tell News 12 Long Island they found obscenities written on the building. Firefighters haven’t confirmed if anything was found on the building and say a cause is under investigation.
