Each week we pray for the United States, one state at a time.
This week we lift in prayer the state of Maryland.
One of the fun things about writing these posts is the discovery of interesting tidbits about each state. For example, Maryland’s state motto is: Fatti maschii, parole femine.
Translated: “Manly deeds, womanly words.”
Not sure what the historical background of the motto is, but there you go — your daily dose of information guaranteed to win you the next round of Trivial Pursuit…if the category is “Maryland.”
If Maryland is where you call home, please leave a comment and tell us some specific ways we can pray!
