Divided into five parts, the Webcasts feature the Rev. Parker T. Williamson’s talk on the “New Reformation” and the Rev. Carmen Fowler’s presentation entitled “Unfinished Business: Every Disciple Fully Equipped for Every Good Work.”
Williamson’s presentation recounts the history of The Reformation and relates its origins to similar events that are occurring today. He also reminded those in attendance of the importance of the laity in both the historic and modern Reformations.
In her three-part presentation, Fowler focused on spiritual preparedness for God’s work. Fowler told the audience that Christians must realize they are chosen and consider themselves members of the royal family.
“Are you functioning in your Christian walk every day as a priest?,” she asked. “Understanding that you are an ambassador of Jesus Christ. You are His agent of grace. You are saved by Him and you are sent on His behalf into the world. … You are a part of something holy. God has claimed you for a purpose. Here it is: In order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of Him who called you.”
Both Webcast presentations are accompanied by slide presentations, feature high-quality streaming video and require no downloading.
