A new look for our Web site plus a countdown on big issues
The Layman, October 30, 2008
Welcome to the new and improved look of The Layman Online! We’ve long been a leader in print publications for the Presbyterian Church (USA). And from the day we posted our first Web site in 1998, we’ve tried to keep you informed with the latest news.
I’m sure you’ve noticed that this is a big change. There are many new features and easier paths for you to find the content you want. While there are many changes, however, there are many things that will remain the same.
Even as we enhance our Web presence, we will continue to monitor the impact from the 218th General Assembly in June and report the presbytery votes on proposed changes to G-6.106B.
Of course, we will also maintain our in-depth coverage of the events taking place in the Presbyterian Church (USA, EPC and PCA). We will still publish more readers’ letters than any other Presbyterian Web site.
Please look around, visit various new pages on the site and try some of our new features. But be patient, because as with any new technology, there may be some glitches in the beginning. Let us know what you think. Let us know what works and what doesn’t! And we hope and pray that the new Web site will continue to be a resource that serves you well and glorifies our Lord.
