Rev. Radi Atallah, chairperson of the Evangelical Coptic Authority’s regional committee on dialogue of cultures, has said the Muslim Brotherhood is trying to destroy social peace in Egypt by using public violence and violence against Copts.
Rev. Atallah pointed out that Salafis are the other face of the Muslim Brotherhood, and it had become apparent that their goal is to crack Egyptian unity and disrupt the transitional period.
“The violence is part of the literature of the Muslim Brotherhood. This group is trying to destroy social peace and live in a blood bath. The Muslim Brotherhood is a threat to the community and to its own members,” Atallah told Mideast Christian News.
He added that the group has lost its popularity after Egyptian society rejected its rule. Rev. Atallah believed that the violence carried out by the group is a result of its many mistakes after losing power.
