Weekly Prayer Guide for Presbyteries in the PC(USA)
This week’s focus: Matthew 5 & 6. Pray that God’s Word would be lived out in the life of each presbytery, especially as commissioners debate and vote on proposed amendments to the Church’s Constitution, nFOG, and Belhar. Jesus said, “For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one letter, not one stroke of a letter, will pass from the law until all is accomplished.” Matthew 5:18
On Sunday, November 28, pray for Biblical Truth to touch the hearts and lives of God’s children, young and old,
in each congregation within the PCUSA.
Presbyteries to pray for this week: John Calvin, Kendall, Eastern Oklahoma, Lake Huron, Central Florida, Holston
Monday, November 29

Matt.5:44-“Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”
Thank you that our battle is not against people but against the powers of darkness and evil. Please open the eyes of our leaders to your Truth…
Matt. 6:9-“Pray in this way: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name.”
We worship you, Lord; you hold all power; you know the end from the beginning. We trust you to lead us in your ways…
6:10-“Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
We ask for your will for the direction of your church PCUSA and ask for a move of your Holy Spirit to lead us…
6:11- “Give us this day our daily bread.”
Thank you, Lord, for your provision for us today. We rest in your authority, strength and power…
6:12-“And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.”
Lord, we fall far short of your glory. Help us to forgive that you may forgive us….
Lead us in your will and your ways…
6:13- “And do not bring us to the time of trial,
But rescue us from the evil one.”
We intercede for our beloved PCUSA and ask for a move of your Spirit to keep us from the evil one…
