Help this Ministry
The Presbyterian Lay Committee is a ministry that publishes The Layman, The Layman Online and produces books and other material for renewal in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Through support from individuals, foundations and congregations, the Lay Committee has raised the Biblical and Reformed standard since 1965 in the PCUSA.
The Lay Committee is a 501 (c)(3) charitable corporation. Donors receive written acknowledgement of their contributions for income tax purposes.
The mission of the Presbyterian Lay Committee is made up of two major elements:
-
Informing Christians about the important issues taking place in their church and the Biblical truths necessary to stand for Christ in a challenging culture.
-
Equipping those same Christians to respond to the challenges facing their faith, their church and their culture.
A key element of both of those goals is to proclaim Jesus Christ alone as
-
The Way of salvation
-
The Truth of God's Word
-
The Life of discipleship
